Miniature Dollhouse Christmas Tree Ornaments

“You can’t use those as ornaments”

Um, watch me, ha! Back in December last year, I got the most random idea - to use my dollhouse miniatures as ornaments! I had seen Honey Thistle make ornaments inspired by furniture and decor using MDF and paint, but I knew I didn’t have the skills. But, what I did have were quite a few pieces of miniature dollhouse furniture that I could use instead! I didn’t have enough miniatures at the time but I was determined to continue making more throughout this year. As luck would have it, Sheet Society asked me to make a dollhouse for them two months later, and I knew after this project was complete, I’d have enough miniatures to use as ornaments for our Christmas Tree this year! To keep it harmonious and not a hot mess, I stuck to a colour palette of blues and reds. I attached ribbon to each miniature using my hot glue gun, and that’s it! I’d love to know what you think in the comments!
