Upcycled Curtain Table Lamp

From roadside relic to stunning statement piece

I love reimagining anything secondhand, so I thought I’d share a project from my new book Dream Home DIY! I thrifted a beautiful striped bedspread, but it was stained, so I decided to repurpose it in an unexpected way using a secondhand lamp base and shade. I used the fabric to make a ruffled curtain, which I glued onto the lampshade. And that’s it! If you’re looking to dip your toes into thrifting and upcycling, secondhand lamps are a great place to start.
